Approach

My unique approach to healing and teaching comes from many years of practice and training.  Mindfulness Meditation and Yoga,  along with Yoga Therapy enables the body~heart to open more fully allowing ease, well-being and healing to occur.  Mindful Yoga, which opens the energy channels from the various meridians used in Chinese medicine, and Ayurvedic medicine will help to move stuck muscles and energy.  My lessons blend these ancient sciences together to form a unique experience for each practitioner and student.

Hatha Vinyasa Yoga                                                                                                                                                                           

HA– Sun, masculine quality, heat producing energy in the body
THA– Moon, feminine quality, producing a cooling energy in the body
Vinyasa– A movement that is linked with the breath.

My Yoga classes will encompass a deepening of the mind, body, spirit connection, incorporate a toxin releasing session (heat generating), while blending in the theories behind the practice of Meditation and Yoga, with an emphasis on the body and how it relates to the present moment.

Each class will be styled to the individual’s needs and abilities. Together we will discover and explore for ourselves the benefits of these ancient practices. While strengthening your mind, body, and spirit through the time spent on your mat,  your unique journey will unfold ultimately revealing itself in your moment to moment life!

My goal is to utilize my training to facilitate comfort and ease in the body, mind-heart  from the inside out. A balance of western and Eastern practices can bring about great change in a persons health and well being.  YOU can achieve a life of balance, optimum health, and well- being, free from dis-ease, depression and stress!

I look forward to both teaching, and learning from my clients and students. I believe we are all teachers, and we are all students in life.
